Commitment
Live Ear Ministries is dedicated to witnessing to Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing people around the world, specifically those in West Africa. Our goal is for everyone to “hear” the Good News. Since our establishment we have held an annual Summer Mission trip where we bring missionaries from across the globe.
During this time we travel to different West African Countries where we spend several weeks in full fellowship, Bible studies, Vacation Bible School, and church planting. We also spend a few weeks at our school in Benin providing trainings for pastors and educators in the deaf community. We provide Sign Language courses to our families as well, so they have improved communication with their children. Our hope is these trainings and Bible Camps support building faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, salvation, and development into mature Christians.
LEM is open to partnering with individuals, families, churches, and businesses who have a heart for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing in Benin. By partnering with individuals and organizations like yours is how we are able to carry out our mission.
Ways to help
Volunteering
We are looking for groups or individuals who feel God is calling them to help those in the Deaf Community by providing/helping with Deaf ministry, community outreach/social services, church planting, construction and maintenance, vocational training, and agriculture. We opportunities year round from one week trips to multi-week short term missions. Our biggest volunteer opportunity is during our Two Month Annual Summer Missions.
Donations
Currently, we have over 50 students and 16 staff that we provide for. We also have major building projects and needs that we must obtain to keep our school running. So any form of donation is needed. From financial, clothing, bibles, crafts, and so much more.
